atg Luther & Maelzer offers a wide range of different test technologies starting from prototype testing up to mass production test.
atg’s Flying Probe Systems feature a unique multi rail concept, which allows test systems with up to 24 test heads. It guarantees an outstanding throughput in the final process of electrical testing, especially when combining the tester with an automated handling system.
Although automated Flying Probe solutions nowadays can be applied economically even for mid size production volumes, high volume production often requires a test solution based on Grid testers (fixture based test systems). atg Luther & Maelzer offers under its Luther & Maelzer brand Universal Grid Test Systems with grids ranging from double density to octal density (35mil) and test areas up to 488 mm x 406 mm (19.2″ x 16.0″). These combine easy and fast fixture building and simple use with high throughput. Optional optical alignment and micro adjustment provides the functionality required for testing small pad sizes and dense structures.
